The Young Poland Foundation had a successful inaugural scholarship season, distributing over $2,500 in financial support to three Polish scholars pursuing degrees at LDS Business College and Brigham Young University. Please take a moment to get to know our scholarship recipients and appreciate their accomplishments.
Wojtek Baszczyk - Mr. Baszczyk is the inaugural recipient of the Eugene England Memorial Scholarship. He is currently studying business at LDS Business College, after which he plans to pursue a university degree. Mr. Baszczyk was born in Wroclaw, Poland, and raised in Warsaw. He is married and he served an LDS mission in Salt Lake City.
Aleksandra Rzeczycka - Ms. Rzeczycka is a recipient of a YP Foundation Tuition Scholarship. She is a student at Brigham Young University where she enjoys classes in dance and various languages. One of her professional goals is to become certified as a translator/interpreter. Ms. Rzeczycka is from Warsaw, and has been the head of the Polish delegation representing UNICEF at the Hague International Model UN.
Michal Trenerowski - Mr. Trenerowski is a student at Brigham Young University and a recipient of a YP Foundation Tuition Scholarship. He is pursuing a degree in business with an emphasis in finance. |
